Ro Ogrentz is a director, writer and educator who was born and raised on Chicago's far South Side. Ro is a soon-to-be graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University where she will be graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts concentrating in Theatre for Young Audiences. During her time at The Theatre School Ro has spent a lot of time sharpening her skills as a dramaturg, finding as many ways as possible to include this critical research based eye in her work with young people. Ro was the head dramaturg on both The Kid Who Ran for President and Prospero's Storm as well as the Assistant Director for Cinderella: The Remix and The Day John Henry Came to School all at Chicago Playworks for Families and Young Audiences. Ro is currently an education intern at Adventure Stage Chicago.
